Most people would rather talk about the intimate details of their sex lives

than talk about the tactics they use to get their way.

This is why it is so difficult to learn how to protect yourself from manipulative tactics and how to get your ideas put into action.

Until NOW!

Tactics are the tools you use to implement your ideas. Because we don’t want to appear as if we are manipulating events, no

one talks about the tactics they use . . . until now.

Tired of being a victim of the tactics of the sleazy?

Do you wish you could learn to see what they are doing to you before you fall into their trap?

If that’s the case then you need to learn tactics.

But it is not easy to learn about tactics – I have not seen a college course on tactical manipulation . . . and most people would rather talk about the intimate details of their sex lives than explain how they manipulated people in tough situations.

Why do you think people are reluctant to hire people with no experience? They want them prove that they have become tactically effective before they put them on the payroll.

There are only two ways to learn –

Option 1) Your mistakes

Option 2) Learn from the mistakes of others

NOTE:  Option 2 is quicker and easier

You don’t get paid extra for doing things the hard way.

WHAT CAN A POLITICAL HACK TEACH ME ABOUT TACTICS?

One of the best parts of working in the political world, especially at the state and local level, is you get to see tactics on display at all levels. People are jockeying for position, trying to stop your agenda and pass their own – and the public passes judgment on your decisions.

25 years of political involvement -- going door-to-door to Presidential campaigns – has given me some unique perspectives on what works and what doesn’t in a pressure packed tactical environment.

Manipulation, lying, deception, it is used everyday by spin masters and politicians who want you to buy into their ideas. Not to mention the bureaucrats and empire builders who manipulate events behind the scenes to get their way . . .

Being naïve to their tactics is never a virtue.

“Eagles may soar – but weasels don’t get sucked into jet engines”

You don’t have to become a conniving weasel to become an effective tactician – but if you don’t want to be sucked into the games that some people play, you need to be aware of their traps. Not everyone plays by your rules.

End the frustration of watching your best ideas being killed by crafty interlopers, and learn how to keep your organization from being destroyed by wrong-headed policies.

There are many resources on this site to help improve your tactical effectiveness.  If you have a specific question, please feel free to contact me at kirk@yourpoliticalguru.com.
